I was pleasantly surprised a couple of weeks ago to receive a call from the American Society of Landscape Architects' Wendy Miller, who welcomed me as one of this year's slate of new ASLA Fellows! This couldn't have come at a better time, when the future is so uncertain. Unfortunately, we can't attend the ceremony, which is usually during the annual ASLA conference--this year in Miami--because it's been cancelled due to the high Covid-19 rate in Florida. Maybe next year...
ASLA elevates a couple dozen of members every year to the rank of fellow for their exceptional contributions to the landscape architecture profession and society at large. Election to the ASLA Council of Fellows is among the highest honors the ASLA bestows on members and is based on their works, leadership and management, knowledge and service.
Congratulations to my fellow Fellows!
